A break from routine

Christina's B&B is a great place to get away from mundane reality - John and Tina couldn't be more solicitous and welcoming. A lovely homey place to stay with lots of little touches of elegance in a beautiful natural setting - definitely worth its four star rating.

Dora Creek is very pretty - we only wish we had come equipped with a kayak or other water craft.

This hotel made our holiday very enjoyable.

We the whole family enjoyed our stay at Blacksmiths so much both my children Dean and Ashleigh would love to come back if we can get a booking for next year. We had not stayed at a Hostel before but found the sharing of the kitchen, the lounge room, the showers the parking very easy to come by. In fact when my children met the other people from Norway, Italy and England it really made the holiday for them.

Staff friendly and obliging,

Hunter Gardens at Pokolbin would be a must see when visiting the Hunter Valley, we were not there long enough to be able to stay for the Christmas light show, but by seeing all the lights in the trees, it would have been nothing short of spectacular

Hunter Resort. Reviewed: September 2009. #2924

The rooms werw very good with all facilities. The meals have dropped off since we last stayed there some three years ago. We thought the Dinner and breakfasts were overpriced compared with other facilities in the area. The Dinner was not a patch on the one we enjoyed at Amanda's on the Edge and cost more. Great place to stay at- meals can be taken elsewhere. Wine Film and tasting was excellent.

Great place to visit- plenty to do and see. Lovely winery's to visit and great wines.
